While the opportunity to earn a online education degree does provide flexibility in scheduling, you still only have so much time available during the course of a day to study. You need to consider how many time slots of 10 minutes or more you will have in front of your computer each day before you begin your online education.
If you have very young children and you are the primary caretaker in addition to having a full-time job, you may find that you have to wait until your children are in school to be able to consistently dedicate enough time to earn an online education degree.
Some people still manage to earn an online education degree, but it takes very good time management and absolute self-discipline. There will be those short gaps of time after the children are tucked into bed or before the children wake up in the morning when you could take some time to study.
But if you aren’t extremely determined and self-disciplined in your effort to earn an online education degree, you would be better off waiting a few years.

It is important not to sign up for too many classes, especially early on in your studies, as you need to prevent burning yourself out during your studies. You will need to stick to them for at least a couple of years in order to get your online education degree.
Your life is already hectic and distracting enough, so be sure to follow proper study habits as much as possible when you have your periods of time in which to study.
You’ll want a quiet room as much as possible. This isn’t the time to catch up on television, the news, or your email. If you can be to yourself in a room with just the computer, you will get a lot more done in a lot less time.
